Herbed-Yam-Wedges... A Perfect Side Dish!

Here's what you put in it...

1 1/2 pounds yams, peeled and cut into wedges. (I like a 1/2 inch wedge)

2 tablespoons olive oil (Good for you too)

2 garlic cloves, pressed (finely chopped if you don't have a garlic press)

1 teaspoon salt (try a coarse sea salt)

1 teaspoon coarse black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

1 1/2 cups half-and-half

Here's how to prepare the yams...

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.

2. Throw everything into a large bowl and mix it up.

3. Put everything into a Lightly oiled casserole dish, evenly spreading throughout the dish.

4. Bake 45 minutes or until the sweet yams are tender & the top is golden brown.
